TD-GC-MS/MS is a system suitable for the analysis of volatile PFAS in the air. TD concentrates the target substances from hundreds of liters of air and connects to a high-sensitivity triple quadrupole GC-MS/MS to detect concentrations in pg/m3. Since PFAS exist in low concentrations in the air, the system requires a low detection limit. Additionally, because PFAS are widely used in various products, it is crucial to ensure there is no contamination from the system or components. Evaluating background levels is essential for obtaining reliable analytical results.
